3rd Prize for Jana Eisoldt in Women‘s Award
Jana Eisoldt, master student in computer science at the OvGU, won the 3rd prize in the Women‘s Award. She wrote her bachelor thesis about „Secure IoT Device Commissioning“ and is now continuing to work on the topic at the ComSys workgroup.
The first prize went to Louisa Fay, student at the University of Stuttgart. Fatima El Hassan, who is studying at the HTW Berlin, got second.
The award is given to female students in computer science who recently finished their degree and showed extraordinary results, paired with social commitment. It is founded by Carl Zeiss Digital Innovation GmbH and Erika Büdenbender, wife of the german Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier. The award aims at supporting women in IT and creating female role models to encourge more women to study technical courses.
