The lecture introduces into the field of »Data Communication« and »Computer Networks«. For this, wired as well as wireless networks, network architectures, protocols, and tools are discussed. The structure of the lecture follows the ISO/OSI network model and includes.

In “Computer Networks II” we continue the discussion of "Computer Networks”. In contrast to “Computer Networks I” the focus will be on the higher layers.

Prerequisites

A passd exam of Computer Networks (I) or the permission to attend the exam is a prerequisites to attend this course.
